Its WINDSTOPPER® outer shell optimises insulation and weather resistance.
Features
Insulation
- This garment features 140g (size large) of premium Goose Down, with a minimum ratio of 90/10 and an 800 fill power, delivering outstanding warmth with minimal bulk and weight.
- Each baffle is carefully filled and arranged to ensure the highest possible thermal efficiency per gram of down used.
- All down is ethically sourced in accordance with the DOWN CODEX© and RDS 3.0 standards, which prioritise animal welfare.
- Every item includes a unique DOWN CODEX© tracking code that reveals the precise origin of the down, along with exact content and fill power details.
Materials
- The outer shell is constructed using WINDSTOPPER® by GORE-TEX labs Ripstop with an ePTFE membrane and a 10 Denier fabric, offering exceptional durability and resistance to harsh weather.
- Inside, an ultralight 10 Denier lining enhances breathability, promotes efficient moisture transfer, and contributes to comfort and compressibility.
Patterning & Design
- The FIRESTORM Construction employs stitched-through baffles and a WINDSTOPPER® shell, striking a fine balance between insulation, protection, and minimal weight.
- This design delivers up to 20% more warmth while reducing overall weight by up to 20%, with a significant decrease in water and wind penetration.
- The jacket has been engineered for comfortable layering over alpine climbing apparel whenever conditions demand.
Hood Configuration
- The Super Alpine HC Hood has been meticulously designed for seamless use with or without a helmet, offering superb protection and comfort throughout prolonged use, even when worn over other hoods.
Pocket Configuration
- Two zipped handwarmer pockets and one chest pocket provide easy access to essential items.
- Two generously sized inner drop pockets offer ideal storage for gloves, a water bottle, or any gear that benefits from staying warm.
Centre Front Zip
- A two-way YKK® moulded centre front zip is paired with a lightweight offset rear baffle to effectively limit heat loss and block wind penetration.
- The zip has been designed for smooth operation, even when wearing gloves.
Cuffs & Sleeves Configuration
- Elasticated cuffs ensure an effective seal and make the jacket easy to adjust while wearing gloves, helping to preserve body heat.
- Sleeves are tailored for full freedom of movement, supporting dynamic climbing motions without restriction.
Waist & Hem Construction
- Dual tether hem drawcords allow precise adjustment while enhancing overall thermal retention.
Further Features
- A lightweight stuff sack is included for compact storage.
