Description
Description
The Voile TelePro Avalanche Shovel is a heavy-duty shovel built for moving large volumes of snow, and a long-standing choice for ski patrollers, guides and rescue teams. The long telescoping handle makes digging more efficient and easier on the lower back, and it detaches from the scoop when collapsed for compact travel. The scoop is cold-forged from 6061 aluminium and heat-treated to a T6 temper, giving strength and rigidity close to a steel shovel. Two slotted deadman holes allow the scoop to be used in a rescue sled or as a snow anchor. Voile advises against using it as a crevasse anchor.
