High-lofting 700FP down sits in body-mapped baffles, with smaller nano baffles under the arms for mobility and larger micro baffles across the back, shoulders, and front for warmth where it's needed most. For the first time, the Microlight is constructed with Pertex® Quantum with NetPlus®, a fabric yarn made from fully traceable post-consumer recycled fishing nets. This soft-feel fabric is windproof, breathable, and built to withstand getting dropped at the crag or stuffed in a pack. A Rab bestseller, it's a down jacket that offers reassuring warmth and familiar refuge whenever it's needed.

Pertex® Quantum is a lightweight, soft-feel windproof fabric that promotes full lofting of the down insulation, staying compact and protective for mountain use. On the Women's Microlight Alpine it's woven with NetPlus®, a yarn spun from fully traceable, post-consumer recycled fishing nets.

Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
