Built for cold-weather climbing and fast alpine ascents, Rab's Ascendor Hoody is a slim-fitting grid fleece midlayer that balances warmth, breathability and freedom of movement. The gridded Thermic G fleece dries quickly and regulates temperature well during high-output climbing, while a harness-friendly cut and under-helmet hood keep it working hard on technical terrain.

Sustainability Features
Rab reports 89% total recycled content on the Ascendor Hoody, made up of 96% recycled main fabric, 94% recycled trims and 7% recycled zips. The secondary fabric's DWR finish is fluorocarbon-free.
Technology
Thermic G Soft Fleece is a gridded fleece fabric that cuts weight and bulk while maximising breathability and dry time, suited to high-output climbing in cold conditions.
Matrix Single Weave Softshell reinforces the shoulders and hood with wind resistance and a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, keeping light precipitation and wind out without adding bulk.
Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
