Rab Men's Khroma Kinetic Waterproof Ski Pants

Rab's Khroma Kinetic Pants are built for ski touring and ski mountaineering, where mobility, low weight and breathability are the highest priorities. They offer the protection of a hardshell with the comfort of a softshell, constructed using Rab's own Proflex™ fabric. Efficiently pulling moisture away from the body, these ski pants are ideal for keeping a good pace on the skin up, with excellent stretch and mobility for kick turns on steep terrain and boot packs. On spring missions and fast-moving climbs, heat is dumped quickly through the zipped thigh vents.

Offering a fully customisable fit, the pants feature hook and loop waist adjustments as well as belt loops and attachment points for braces. Pockets are carefully positioned for easy reach and minimal interference when skinning and skiing. The interface with ski boots is cleverly designed with an adjustable hem and a high-stretch internal gaiter to seal out snow. Complete with tough crampon patches, these pants are equipped for intrepid ski adventures.

Technology

Proflex™

Proflex™ is Rab's own stretch fabric technology, combining the protection of a hardshell with the flexibility and comfort of a softshell. This 20D stretch-woven nylon three-layer waterproof construction is highly breathable and finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR (149 g/m²), delivering a hydrostatic head of 20,000 mm and a moisture vapour transmission rate of 25,000 g/m²/24 hrs.

Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
