Rab Men's Ascendor Summit Hoody

Rab's Ascendor Summit Hoody is a body-mapped fleece hoody built for winter climbing, alpinism and ski touring. Warmth, wind resistance and breathability are placed exactly where they are needed, adapting to active use on icefalls, skin tracks and exposed rock.

Sustainability Features

More than half of the fabric on the Size Medium is recycled by weight: main fabric 96% recycled, secondary fabric 0% recycled, lining 58% recycled, for 59% recycled fabric overall, plus 25% recycled zips and 63% recycled trims, for 58% total recycled content. The DWR treatment on the secondary fabric is fluorocarbon-free.

Technology

PrimaLoft® Evolve is a highly breathable, wicking active insulation that helps regulate body temperature during high-output movement, providing warmth without overheating on the move.

Pertex® Quantum Air is a lightweight, wind-resistant fabric positioned across the chest, shoulders and upper arms to block wind exactly where it is needed, finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment.

Thermic™ G is a soft, gridded fleece fabric used at the underarms, sides and hood lining, adding warmth with minimal bulk and excellent next-to-skin comfort.

Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
