Rab Latok 38L Spectra Alpine Mountaineering Pack

The Rab Latok 38L Mountain Pack is a 38-litre alpine and mountaineering pack built to take a beating, using Cordura nylon reinforced with Spectra Ripstop. Simple, streamlined and strippable, the Latok 38 weighs 860 g and is built for fast-moving ascents from ambitious alpinism to ski mountaineering.

• 38 L at 860 g, measuring 60 x 33 x 22 cm, with a 48 cm back length
• 210D Cordura with Spectra Ripstop and a HydroShield water-resistant finish, plus 50% recycled 420 PW / HydroShield, making it highly abrasion, tear and UV resistant
• Spectra fibres are 15 times stronger than steel for their relative weight, so the fabric stands up to contact with sharp tools, rocks and ski edges
• Strippable parts, from the foam back panel to the detachable rope strap, so weight, rigidity and fit can be set for the day's objective
• X-SHIELD back system sits close to the back for freedom of movement on vertical climbing, with a pre-curved, form-fitting panel and dual-density foam straps, thicker at the top and thinner lower down
• Roll top entry is weatherproof, strong and easy to get into, with zipped rear pocket access
• Two HeadLocker ice axe attachments with removable lash, a secure detachable rope carry strap and a daisy chain with tough metal hooks for extra gear
• Lower compression straps double as an A-frame ski carry, plus a top tensioner that pulls the load close to the body, a removable hipbelt with easy-release buckle and a sternum strap with whistle

One size, MED, with a 48 cm back length, so check that against your own back length before ordering. Supplied in Pewter. The foam back panel, rope strap and other components come off for lightweight mountain days.
