Rab Ascent 1100 Down Sleeping Bag (-25C)

The Ascent 1100 is a highly insulating sleeping bag, designed with a spacious and comfortable wide mummy shape. It is filled with 1100g of 650FP duck down, offering exceptional warmth and room for wearing additional layers if required. This sleeping bag is suitable for use in extremely cold conditions, making it ideal for winter adventures or as a base camp refuge at high altitudes.

Constructed with a lightweight and durable recycled Pertex® Quantum outer fabric and a recycled nylon lining, the Ascent prioritises both performance and sustainability. The trapezoidal boxwall baffles are carefully designed to stack efficiently, allowing the hydrophobic duck down to loft fully while minimising cold spots. Hand-filled in the UK, the down used in every bag has never been compressed prior to use, ensuring its loft and insulating properties are fully preserved.

The generous mummy fit, combined with a wide foot box, provides ample space for a restful night’s sleep. A snug neck baffle is incorporated to retain warmth effectively when temperatures plummet. The ¾ length main zip features a down-filled baffle, preventing draughts from entering the bag.

Practical features include an internal zipped stash pocket, which is perfectly sized for storing essentials like a phone or headlamp, as well as a cotton storage sack for long-term home use. A compression stuff sack is also included to keep the packed size compact and protected during travel. For added flexibility, a left-zip bag can be paired with a right-zip version to create a double sleeping space, perfect for adventurers travelling with a partner or seeking extra room.
