Petzl Verso Belay-Rappel Device

Petzl's Verso is an excellent, lightweight device for belaying and rappelling with one or two rope strands. This product is the lightest in Petzl's range, making it a top choice for climbers. Its unique design allows for smooth rope gliding and minimises wear. It's compatible with a wide range of rope diameters: single ropes between 8.5 and 11 mm, half ropes between 7.1 and 9.2 mm, and twin ropes between 6.9 and 9.2 mm.

• The ATTACHE can be used for this application. Warning: if the carabiner rotates when using larger diameter half ropes, the ropes can become damaged by the inside edges of the gate
• The TWIST-LOCK system is not recommended for this application, as the sleeve can be unlocked and the gate opened by a single motion of the rope
