Petzl Mini Traxion Progress-Capture Pulley - Technical Rescue and Rope Access | Sealed Ball Bearings | Self-Cleaning Cam is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Description
Description
The Petzl Mini Traxion is a compact, drop-resistant progress-capture pulley for setting up haul systems. Its moving side plate opens with a triple action, so the rope can be installed while the pulley stays attached to the anchor. The mid-sized sheave suits hauling mid-weight loads, and the low bulk is an advantage in technical rescue and rope access work.
Key Features
- Progress-capture pulley, compact and drop-resistant
- Triple-action opening of the moving side plate works quickly even when wearing gloves
- Rope can be installed while the pulley remains attached to the anchor
- Red indicator gives a clear visual warning when the moving side plate is not securely locked
- Specially designed side plate protects the rope path from potential damage
- Mid-sized aluminium sheave mounted on sealed ball bearings for excellent efficiency, sized for hauling mid-weight loads
- Toothed cam with a self-cleaning slot to keep performance up on frozen or dirty ropes
- Can be used as a simple pulley by locking the cam in the raised position
- Hole in the cam takes a remote control cord
- Technical notice, EU Declaration of Conformity, maintenance guidance, PPE inspection procedure and PPE checklist supplied as PDF downloads
Petzl publishes haul system efficiency figures for information only, since rope diameter and construction, hauling speed and load all vary in the field.

SIMPLE DIRECTIONAL (1:1) |

|
Note: Pulley efficiency ratings in the Instructions for Use are based on values measured with a simple 1:1 directional. Hauling efficiency F = xx M is the value obtained with the smallest compatible rope diameter for the device. The pulley efficiency expressed in % is calculated from this value. Efficiency is always less than 100%, which is the efficiency of an ideal pulley (impossible in reality). Example for MAESTRO S: F = 116 M, efficiency = 86% |
