The Mountain Equipment Super Oreus Men's Jacket is a double-layer synthetic insulated belay jacket, engineered for severe alpine conditions. It delivers maximum warmth-to-weight, storm protection and packability for winter climbing, alpine climbing and expedition use. Built on the Oreus platform with double the insulation, it brings across the feature set and cut of Mountain Equipment's expedition down jackets, and its Super Alpine HC Insulated Hood extends protection into the most severe weather, whether worn with a helmet or not.

Drilite® Loft is Mountain Equipment's range of water-repellent fabrics for insulated clothing and equipment. Its coating provides a genuine 1500mm hydrostatic head of water resistance, rather than a surface DWR that wears off, so Drilite® Loft fabrics stay highly water-resistant for the life of the product.
Aetherm™ Precision Insulation
Aetherm™ combines the warmth and comfort of down with the toughness and weather resistance of a synthetic fill. Its construction weaves recycled synthetic fibres within a reflective internal layer, adding warmth and comfort while keeping bulk and weight to a minimum.
