Description
Description
The Mountain Equipment Glacier 450 Sleeping Bag is a superb all-round bag for general mountaineering and lower altitude trekking trips. With a slimmer Alpine fit, this protective bag is ideal for those looking to reduce weight without compromising on warmth.
The Drilite Loft II outer shell is lightweight, breathable and water-resistant, coping with condensation and snow to ensure a dry and comfortable night's sleep. Inside, the EXL elasticated stitching system minimises dead airspace, reduces draughts and pulls the liner fabric away from the down, allowing it to loft effectively for maximum warmth. A full-length Gemini zip baffle eliminates heat loss along the entry point and is stiffened so it will not catch in the zip. The low-profile magnetic Lode Lock closure and collar drawcords are effective and easy to use in the dark.
Supplied with a waterproof roll-top stuff sack and storage cube.

Down 700 Down is the finest insulator Mountain Equipment uses. Its warmth-to-weight ratio, compressibility, long lifespan and softness are yet to be matched by man-made insulations. For all but the most serious expeditions, duck down is a great choice for both insulated clothing and equipment. |

Drilite Loft Drilite Loft is Mountain Equipment's exclusive range of highly water-repellent fabrics used in their insulated clothing and equipment. The original Drilite Loft, introduced almost 30 years ago, was years ahead of its time: a highly breathable, lightweight and very water-repellent fabric. Those three hallmarks continue with their modern Drilite Loft fabrics. |
