Description
Description
The Glacier 300 is the lightest model in the Glacier series, making it an ideal choice for backpacking and alpine mountaineering during the summer season. It combines high-quality down insulation, expedition-proven construction techniques, and a durable, water-resistant outer fabric to create a highly adaptable sleeping bag suited for warmer conditions in the mountains.
With 296g of DOWN CODEX-approved duck down offering a minimum fill power of 700, it delivers remarkable warmth for its weight. The 30-denier DRILITE® LOFT™ outer fabric, now featuring a recycled face, resists both condensation and accidental spills while remaining lightweight and water resistant.
Trapezoid baffles positioned along the top help maintain loft, eliminate cold spots, and keep the down in place. At the base, a six-baffle construction directs warmth around the feet, providing extra comfort through the night. The hood benefits from a five-baffle system that ensures consistent insulation and maintains warmth over extended use.
Inside the bag, the tried-and-true EXL® elasticated stitching system reduces dead air zones, prevents drafts, and gently pulls the inner fabric away from the down, allowing it to loft to its full potential. A full-length Gemini™ zip baffle prevents warmth from escaping along the zip and is reinforced to avoid snagging. Meanwhile, the magnetic Lode Lock™ closure and adjustable collar drawcords are reliable and easy to manage even in low-light conditions.
With its Alpine tapered shape optimising thermal performance while keeping weight down, and a Good Night’s Sleep Temperature of -1°C (30°F), the Glacier 300 is a dependable companion for summer expeditions in the mountains.

Down 700 Down is the finest insulator that we have. Its warmth to weight ratio, compressibility, long lifespan, and softness are yet to be matched by manmade insulations. For all but the most serious expeditions, duck down is a great choice for both insulated clothing and equipment. |

Drilite Loft Drilite® Loft is Mountain Equipments exclusive range of highly water repellent fabrics used in their insulated clothing and equipment. The original Drilite® Loft, introduced almost 30 years ago, was years ahead of its time: a highly breathable, lightweight, and very water repellent fabric. Those three hallmarks continue with their modern Drilite® Loft fabrics. |

Down Codex® The DOWN CODEX® is our multi-award-winning certification scheme that considers the environmental, ethical and animal welfare matters relating to our down supply chains. It is grounded in comprehensive and transparent auditing that ensures traceability and quality. |

Trapezoid 15:11 baffles are used in the topside of the Glacier bags, a more efficient profile. With less steeply angled side walls, this profile uses less internal stripping to remove bulk and weight. Ideal for weight-saving mountaineers who still want a very thermally-efficient construction method. |

Their Lode Lock collar closure with its auto-locating closure combines all the advantages of a magnetic fastener with those of a mechanical lock. Its one-handed quick release closure uses magnets to draw the locking mechanism together and ensure that once connected it cannot be accidentally opened. |

A five-baffle hood that provides high levels of down control, low weight and excellent insulation. Its roominess imparts excellent versatility and, combined with the easy-run dual tether draw cords, superb comfort. |

A six-baffle foot piece, their most advanced design, and featuring both Mountain Equipments Bulls Eye Technology and offset Sharks Toe foot construction. Its highly sophisticated baffle system maximises thermal efficiency for the coldest and most demanding environments, ensuring warm feet night after night. |
