Combining high-quality down, technical expedition-proven construction elements and a durable, water-resistant outer fabric, the Glacier 300 is a highly versatile bag for backpacking and mountaineering in the summer.

The 296g of minimum 700-fill power DOWN CODEX-approved duck down offers excellent warmth for minimal weight. At the same time, the lightweight and water-resistant 30-denier DRILITE® LOFT™ outer fabric with recycled face protects from condensation or spilt drinks.

Trapezoid baffles across the top of the bag ensure optimal loft, reduce cold spots and prevent down migration, while at the foot of the bag, a six-baffle system focuses warmth around your feet for a comfortable night’s sleep. In the hood, a five-baffle system ensures the down is optimally distributed for warmth and protection over long-term use.

Inside the bag, our time-tested EXL® elasticated stitching system minimises dead airspace, reduces drafts, and pulls the liner fabric away from the down, allowing it to loft effectively for maximal warmth. Meanwhile, a full-length Gemini™ entry zip baffle eliminates heat loss in this vulnerable area and is stiffened so it won’t catch in the zip. The low-profile magnetic Lode Lock™ closure and collar drawcords are effective and easy to use in the dark.

With a tapered Alpine fit to maximise thermal performance while minimising weight and a Good Night’s Sleep Temperature of -1oC (30oF), the lightweight Glacier 300 is the perfect bag for general summer mountain use.

	Their Lode Lock collar closure with its auto-locating closure combines all the advantages of a magnetic fastener with those of a mechanical lock. Its one-handed quick-release closure uses magnets to draw the locking mechanism together and ensure that once connected, it cannot be accidentally opened.
	Trapezoid 15:11 baffles are used in the topside of the Glacier bags, a more efficient profile. With less steeply angled side walls, this profile uses less internal stripping to remove bulk and weight. Ideal for weight-saving mountaineers who still want a very thermally-efficient construction method.
	A five-baffle hood that provides high levels of down control, low weight and excellent insulation. Its roominess imparts excellent versatility and, combined with the easy-run dual tether draw cords, superb comfort.
	A six-baffle foot piece, their most advanced design, and featuring both Mountain Equipment's Bulls Eye Technology and offset Sharks Toe foot construction. Its highly sophisticated baffle system maximises thermal efficiency for the coldest and most demanding environments, ensuring warm feet night after night.
