Beal Hold Up

A fluid and ergonomic ventral ascender

The Hold Up features an offset mounting hole, positioned at a 90° angle. This design ensures that the rope clamp remains vertical and flat, providing optimal fluidity during ascent. Furthermore, the low attachment point on the harness enhances the range of motion with each movement. To maximise comfort, the cam opening is made easier by the ergonomic remote lever.

Durable and compatible with all professional harnesses

The Hold Up is fully compatible with all types of professional harnesses, thanks to the FLAT LINK carabiner, which securely connects the harness to the belay device. It is also suitable for use with the ergonomic Hands Up handled ascender. Moreover, its control mechanism is constructed entirely from metal, offering superior resistance to wear and tear.
