Rab Latok 38L Mountain Pack

Rab's Latok 38L Mountain Pack is built to take a beating, super strong and ultralight. Engineered with Spectra® fibres that are 15 times stronger than steel for their relative weight, this alpine pack can withstand the most rugged rock and ice. Simple, streamlined, and secure on the move, the Latok offers alpinists and mountaineers a wealth of utility and strength for minimum weight. With strippable features for days when moving ultralight and super tough construction, it's equipped to accompany climbers on their most challenging objectives.

Reinforcing an already tough Cordura nylon with Spectra® Ripstop and a HydroShield water-resistant finish makes the Latok highly abrasion, tear, and UV resistant. The weight is kept to a minimum with lightweight features, many of which are removable. From the foam back panel to the detachable rope strap, the pack can be customised for weight, rigidity, and fit depending on the day's objective.

The X-SHIELD™ back system is designed to sit close to the back for complete freedom of movement, with dual-density foam straps for even better mobility. Thicker padding at the top for comfort and thinner lower down, the straps contour the body and move with it. The roll top entry is highly weatherproof, strong, and easy to get into, with a wealth of gear attachments keeping equipment close at hand. From ambitious alpinism to ski mountaineering, the Latok 38 is built for fast-moving ascents where every gram counts.

X-SHIELD™
The X-SHIELD™ back system is designed to sit close to the back, providing complete freedom of movement during vertical climbs. A pre-curved, form-fitting back panel with dual-density foam straps offers even better mobility, with thicker padding at the top for comfort and thinner lower down to contour and move with the body.

Fluorocarbon (PFAS) Free
Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
