Have only had the jacket for a few weeks now, but have taking it out into the back country for a week long tramp. It's rained for a good few days, but never did the water get through. Love the extra room in the shoulders. Arms are a tad long, but also good if you are climbing or such. Hood bit of kit, looking forward to testing it in more harsh conditions. Cheers

I had an opportunity to wear the jacket in cold, windy, and raining conditions. It performed as I expected it should. I has happy with the pockets, the hood, sleeve length, the drawstrings, overall lenght over the hips, etc. My only comment you should make others aware of is this: it is a tight fit across the chest. I am a size Small, and I purchased the small size. I'm a slim build and even then the chest is snug especially with wool layers (base and mid). I think if I was wearing a medium to thick fleece under a base layer it would be very tight indeed. A Medium size would have been too big for me. Overall, very happy with the product.
