Rain-lashed inclines, technical trails, and heavy gear are all part of the job for this versatile shell, which balances breathability, durability, and protection for year-round mountain use. Built using 3-layer GORE-TEX Pro Product Technology with an innovative fluorocarbon-free ePE membrane, tougher fabric sits across the shoulders and sleeves for abrasion resistance from the repetitive rub of backpack straps, while lighter fabric around the core keeps things mobile, breathable, and low on bulk. Wind, rain, sleet, and snow are all kept out while moisture is efficiently managed, keeping the wearer comfortable as the route steepens and the weather turns.

Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
