The jacket's outer shell is crafted from EXOLITE 45, a double weave softshell fabric that is windproof, breathable and subtly stretchy. This makes it an ideal barrier against blustery conditions while remaining comfortable and flexible enough for active use. Inside, a soft micro-grid lining works efficiently to wick moisture away during intense uphill pushes, helping to prevent dampness and discomfort. This same lining adds a welcome layer of insulation on breezy ridgelines and open summits. Together, these fabrics dry rapidly, keeping you comfortable in unpredictable mountain weather and during stop-start activities.

Engineered with a streamlined active fit, the Aerotherm eliminates unnecessary bulk and layers neatly beneath a waterproof shell when conditions demand it. A drawcord-adjustable hem allows for fine-tuning of fit, while elastane-bound cuffs help seal out the wind. The adjustable mountain hood, edged with elastic, provides secure coverage in blustery weather or when running, and it neatly rolls away when not required. The sleeves feature a reversed micro-grid lining to avoid catching on other layers, and articulated shaping ensures freedom of movement during technical climbs or scrambles. Essentials can be safely stowed in zipped hand and chest pockets, and the jacket packs down into one of its own pockets, complete with dual carry loops for attachment to a harness or backpack.
