Rab Expedition 8000 Down Mitt

The Rab specialist expedition mitts are built for the most extreme conditions where you can expect the harshest weather and the coldest temperatures, whether you’re summiting an 8000m peak or crossing the polar ice caps. Designed to provide ultimate warmth at a low weight and without too much bulk, these are our highest performing mittens.

Filled with 850FP goose down on the back of the hand and dual layered PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation on the palm, these gloves have been carefully thought through to cope with regular use on expedition. The outer is made with weather resistant Pertex® Quantum Pro fabric with a textured leather palm for added grip and dexterity whilst also being abrasion resistant – ideal if you will be handling ropes and ice tools. They are reinforced in high wear areas with a 70D nylon and are lined with a cosy pebble fleece.

The mitts have a low bulk cuff that will fit under or over a jacket, with adjustable wrist straps, single hand drawcords and detachable wrist leashes.
