Technology
Syncrino™
The lightweight Syncrino™ 125 fabric is made from a blend of merino wool and 32% recycled synthetic fibres. Merino wool is ideal for cold-weather baselayers, its ability to absorb water makes it excellent at wicking sweat away from the skin, maintaining comfort and regulating body temperature. It is also a great insulator even when wet, although it can take a while to dry.
The man-made synthetic fibres are strong, durable, lightweight, and hold their shape well, and they dry extremely quickly. Blending these yarns creates a quick-drying, fast-wicking, insulating and durable material ideal for mountain baselayers.
Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
