From Piolet d'Or winning first ascents in the Himalaya to the summit of Cerro Torre, Alpine classics and Scottish mixed test pieces, the G2 has seen it all. Now completely updated, the G2 has taken a huge step forward. Stretchier, more weatherproof and better fitting, these pants are the definitive choice for ice and mixed climbing as well as everything from moderate mountaineering to the hardest alpine climbing at altitude.

The EXOLITE XP fabric is durably weather-resistant, and key seams are taped to increase protection even further from both wind and water ingress. It's comfortable to wear either next to the skin or over a base layer in cold conditions. Zip-out internal gaiters give an extra seal whilst post-holing through fresh snow, and there are 500D polyamide reinforced kick strips to limit crampon scrapes. The adjustable waistband sits flat under a harness and provides rapid fine-tuning as you change layers after a long approach.
