Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather

Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather is a water-based waterproofing cream for smooth leather footwear, providing high-performance waterproofing that can be applied to wet or dry leather for immediate protection. It is safe to use on breathable waterproof footwear, providing instant Durable Water Repellency (DWR), maintaining breathability, and replenishing tanning agents in leather.

Non-flammable, free of harmful solvents, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and fluorocarbons, the water-based formulation is directed to leaks and will not over-soften leather. Nikwax has never and will never use PFAS in its products. All Nikwax packaging is made from 100% recycled plastic and is recyclable (#2 plastic) in New Zealand.

How To Use

• For best results, clean footwear first using Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel
• Shake well before use
• Rub the wax thoroughly into wet or dry clean leather using the sponge applicator or your fingers, paying special attention to seams
• Remove any excess with a cloth and buff to a shine
• Note: may darken leather. Test on a hidden area first. Waterproofing Wax for Leather will convert nubuck to a smooth waxy finish
