The Lightning Ascent is MSR's ultralight, aggressive all terrain snowshoe, now fitted with the Paragon binding for a secure, pressure free wrap around the boot. The 360 degree Traction frames give edge to edge grip that matters most when traversing slopes.

The Modular Flotation tails are an optional add on and are not part of the snowshoe. MSR describes the Lightning Ascent as the pinnacle of ultralight and aggressive all terrain performance.
