Adding to previous review -
- only gripe is - specifically for the pot add on, the coffee plunger extension handle has a pretty average thread where it screws in. Be careful not to strip thew thread when attaching.

Know what you are buying before purchasing. Impressions after first use today:
Small learning curve in terms of getting started and fueling optimally during burn.
- Needs dry wood - ideally seasoned. I used a combination of sap-rich seasoned pine to start and rekindle, plus reltiveley newly cut (not seasoned) manuka which we have in endless supply. Started with pine, once hot added manuka for cooking.
- Using the grill add on cooked some of the best lamb cutlets and skewers I've ever had - delicious.
- Grill takes a while to heat up properly and expect to cook with slight charring and otherwise slow cook time - but worth the wait.
- with small sticks / wood pieces needs ongoing feeding to keep temp up for optimal (if still slow-ish) grilling. I consistently used higher fan setting.
- Am wondering if grill could be designed slightly better to channel heat when the flames are not running full bore (more when embers are there)?
- Needed to push grill add on as far back as it could go nearest join with burner - originally had a very small gap and made a big difference closing that.
- Tested water boil in the add on water/coffee/steaming pot - was reasonably impressed with boiling speed.
- Overall love it - lot's of fun cooking with fire on a small scale with a lot less smoke and without having to prep larger and more smoky BBQ or grill.
