A classic outdoor knife designed in the 1930s. The Scout knife is an outdoor recreation knife with a double finger guard that prevents the fingers sliding forward over the blade. It has a short blade made of Swedish stainless steel and a wooden handle adapted for smaller hands, making it suitable as an entry-level knife, smooth and simple to use. Remember to always watch carefully over children when they are woodcarving.
The Scout knife is one of Morakniv's most classic outdoor recreation knives and has always “been prepared” – ever since it first started to be manufactured in the 30’s. It’s the perfect knife for the younger generation of outdoor enthusiasts who want to learn how to carve bark boats, willow pipes and barbecue sticks.
Double finger protection and a birchwood handle.
The blade design has been a hallmark of Morakniv design.
Heat-treated stainless steel with a classic "Scandi" grind.
Bright leather sheath with belt loop

These knives are fantastic! I use them with preschool children to teach them whittling and because they are so sharp it makes it easier for them to learn. They have a great grip and the sheath is well designed too. These are one of the best out there - I always recommend them to other outdoor educators who are using knives with children. I also use them to teach adults how to teach children so they work well at all age groups.
