Leatherman Free T4

The Leatherman T4 Free is part of my EDC - Every Day Carry - equipment and gets utilized on a daily basis for a multitude of jobs but mainly for opening parcels or frozen veges in the kitchen along with other kitchen packages that are hard to rip open by hand. It is also the very best manicure set there is with just wonderful scissors. The knife blade is well positioned for optimum use for such a short blade but if like me you are left handed don't try opening it one handed even though that is the way it was intended. I have owned and carried pocket knives for over 50 years now and have always opened them using both hands and the same when closing them. There appears to be an obsession with this one handed opening of the main blade with all pocket knife makers at this time producing them in one form or another. I think it's to try and cover a wider range of markets where they can't sell auto-opening knives, which is most of the world and even some States of America even ban them now. It is not necessary to have to open a blade with one hand unless that's all you have in the hand line of cause. The market it geared toward self survival at the moment so remember that the best defense against any knife is a 100 yards.
