The Terra Nova Solar Photon 2 tent is a leader in lightweight design, weighing in at a mere 865g with one of the lowest packed weights among comparable self-supporting tents. Crafted from the same advanced fabrics as its predecessor, the Laser Photon 1, its design allows sufficient space to sit up and access the porch; plus a single pole foot end structure simplifies pitching.
For light backpackers seeking a tent for most weather conditions, the Solar Photon 1 delivers the perfect harmony of space, features and weight. This tent is compatible with the Terra Nova FASTPACK system, enabling further weight loss by pairing the flysheet with the separate, available fastpack groundsheet.
Note: Due to its lightweight, the tent is not factory-sealed; however, the seams are designed to reduce water penetration. Furthermore, extra waterproofing can be achieved with seam sealer.
