    If your recent purchase isn't quite right, don't worry! Whether it doesn't fit, isn't as expected, or you've simply changed your mind, we are here to help.

     How to Return or Exchange an Item

    Those are the guidelines for you to return your product:

    • Original packaging, undamaged, with labels attached and unaltered.
    • Return Labels: Do not place return labels directly on the product packaging.
    • Packing: Ensure items are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
    • Damaged Goods: Items or packages that arrive damaged will not be accepted for returns, exchanges, or refunds.
    • Return Window: Items must be returned within 30 days of purchase. We'll process returns within 3 business days.
    • Additional Exchanges: Second and subsequent exchanges will incur an additional shipping fee.
    • Damaged Upon Arrival: If an item or its package arrives damaged, it won't be accepted for refund or exchange. The customer is responsible for arranging and covering the return shipping cost.

     

    Fees and Deductions

    • Exchanges: Product exchanged for another of the same or higher value will not incur restocking fees, though please note that customers are responsible for the return shipping costs on exchanged items.
    • Refunds:  For refunds, please note that a 5% fee will be deducted from the price of the goods to cover the payment method charges that we incur and won't recover. Refunds can take up to 5 business days to be processed. You will receive a notification when your refund has been processed. Be aware that original shipping fees are not eligible for a refund, and customers are responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. Once we receive, inspect and accept the returned item, we will process your refund, which will be the item's purchase price minus the 5% fee.
    • Order Cancellation: If you cancel an order, we will deduct a 5% fee from the total order value due to non-recoverable payment provider charges and administration costs.
      EXCEPTIONS for cancellations fees only if we make a mistake (like the item isn't available), we'll give you a full refund.

     Returns Exceptions

      Unfortunately, there are specific items that do not qualify for return in exchange for another product or a refund:

      • Tents, Bivvys, Shelters & Associated Accessories
      • Airbeds, Mattresses, Sleeping Bags, and Sleeping bag liners
      • Gas canisters/fuel
      • Headlamps and torches
      • Kayaks
      • Fridges, Freezers, Chilly Bins, and Water Heaters
      • Climbing and Mountaineering Equipment
      • Any item that has been worn, used, or altered.
      • Personal Locator Beacons 
      • Gift Vouchers
      • ALL Clearance items (Items marked Clearance in product title) 

       Shipping Fees:

      • We don't refund initial shipping fees.
      • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. 
      • For refunds, please note that all original shipping fees will be deducted from your refund amount. Additionally, a 5% fee will be applied to cover our payment processing charges.

      Warranty Claims

      • Online Form: Use the provided online form, ensuring you include details and photos for quicker processing. For urgent claims, specify within the form.
      • Email: Alternatively, email service@outdooraction.co.nz. Remember to include photos and if necessary a small video showing the issue
      • Processing Time: Claims can take 2-5 weeks, with involvement from the manufacturer or their NZ distributor.
      • Shipping Costs: Customers will  need to cover shipping costs for product inspection.
