Description
New for 2023, the Laser Compact AS is the newer version of the Laser Compact All Season. The AS model offers extra headroom and a new PFC-free inner plus a 30D Si2 dark green colored flysheet. Ideal for solo all-season backpacking, the single hoop design of the award-winning Laser has been combined with robust fabrics and extra guylines for an ultimate, lightweight all-season tent.

- Main seams are seam plus factory silicone sealed and the fully taped groundsheet offers complete waterproof protection
- Includes a vent hood over the top end of the single flysheet doors to provide ventilation and additional protection from the rain
- To help keep condensation at a minimum, there are also vents at both ends of the inner and flysheet
- Low-profile wind-cheating design that can be double-poled in extreme conditions (additional pole sold separately)
- If conditions are poor and you need to double-pole the tent, there are extra eyelets in the pull-out tapes for the pole feet
- Three guylines at each end of the flysheet add extra stability in windy conditions
- There’s a webbing loop at the bottom of the flysheet door to accommodate a trekking pole, enabling you to create a useful canopy
- Compact Reflex 7001 T6 Alloy poles for ease of packing

Laser Compact AS Pitching Instructions
The Laser Compact AS is a blend of two iconic Terra Nova models that creates the ultimate 4-season, lightweight tent. Read the Laser Compact AS tent pitching instructions below:
- Unpack the tent and lay out the flysheet and inner. (Note: The inner tent is already attached to the inside of the flysheet and please ensure the end adjuster tapes are slackened off).
- Carefully assemble the long alloy pole and the two short alloy end poles ensuring all the joints are fully connected.
- Slide the long pole through flysheet pole sleeve.
- Insert each pole tip into the outermost eyelet on the hem of the flysheet.
- At both ends of the flysheet insert the rounded end of the short poles into the red pole pocket under the end vent on the outside of the flysheet and then insert the other end into the eyelet and adjust the tension just enough to keep the pole in place.
- Peg out in the following order:
- a) The guy lines attached to the vent hoods at each end of the flysheet (note: the end poles should slope out slightly at the top by approx. 10 to 15 degrees)
- b) The guy points at the corners of the flysheet. Please note the end of the flysheet should be squared off – please see the picture.
- c) Now peg out the remaining guy lines and inner elastics.
