Return Policy

Ok, so you have made a purchase it's arrived and you have changed your mind, maybe it doesn't fit or perhaps it isn't quite what you wanted, don't panic because this is not a problem just follow the directions below and we will swap it, upgrade it or refund it, it is your choice, we hope this gives you peace of mind while shopping at Outdoor Action online.

How To Return An Item

Your item must be in its original packaging and in an unused condition to be returned,  unless there is a manufacturer defect. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

1. Please email service@outdooraction.co.nz to request a return authorisation and we will assign you a tracking #.

2. Mail your returned item to: (we recomend you use a signature required service)

3. Please ensure you include the tracking number and sender details on the package

Return Exceptions

Unfortunately some items can not be returned  if the packaging has been opened, these include:

  • Tents, DVD's, computer software, airbeds, inflatable matresses and base layer/underwear of any type.
  • Climbing and mountaineering equipment cannot be exchanged or returned due to reasons of safety.
  • Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered in any way will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  • Sale and clearance items cannot be returned for exchange or refund.
  • We will meet our obligations under the New Zealand Consumers guarantee act 1993

 

Shipping Fee

  • We do not refund the original shipping and handling fees that either you have paid or we have incurred in processing and sending your order, this means that even if your order value has reached sufficient value to be eligable for free shipping this actual shipping cost will be deducted from any refund. The exceptions to this is if there is a confirmed manufacturer warranty issue or if an error has been made with your order in which case we will either arrange to have the goods collected or alternativly re-emburse you the return shipping cost. 

 

Exchanges

  • If your purchased item is in like new condition, you may exchange your purchased item for a different product. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you will still have to pay any applicable return shipping.
