Earth Sea Sky's Vent-X overtrous are constructed from heavy duty rainwear and provide excellent performance anywhere from sub-alpine bush to work wear.
Vent-X® is another waterproof breathable fabric using a non microporous hydrophilic polymer. The hydrophilic polymer coating is applied in a liquid form to the back of the base cloth allowing it to impregnate into the entire surface of the base cloth. This process obtains extremely high levels of adhesion which means the Vent-X® coating can be left unprotected without the fear of damage. For over trousers this two-layer fabric construction reduces weight and breathes more efficiently compared to mesh backed three-layer fabrics. Our Vent-X® has a strong nylon base fabric and a durable water-repellent finish on the outside surface to enhance breathability and prevent surface wetting.
