Sleeping Bags & Mats

The first mass produced sleeping bag was patented by Welsh mail-order pioneer Sir Pryce Pryce-Jones in 1876, it was named the Euklisia rug and was basically a folded wool rug with fasteners that kept it closed around the user, of course sleeping bags have evolved somewhat since then but the basic principal of keeping the user encased within the bag thus trapping their body heat and maintaining a core temperature still applies.
